Khokhela Consulting recently embarked on a five year period of CEO remuneration analysis from 2011 to 2015. We used remuneration across 120 different JSE listed companies. Over the years we have seen a continual rise in CEO pay in the form of TGP and Total Remuneration regardless of the size of the organisation.
We have shown some interesting results using a graphical representation of CEO TGP at the lower quartile, median and upper quartile between the above mentioned years. This shows a rise in remuneration in CEO TGP year-on-year.
Khokhela Consulting will be releasing its latest edition of the Directors Remuneration Report later in 2016. This report comprises of the information in the above analyses as well as much more detailed analysis encompassing approximately 250 companies.
